Looking for a new property is a visual task, therefore your listing needs to have the X Factor, to make a property stand out we use colour, by adding artwork, cushions and throws as well as pieces of furniture to attract those looking for a new home to your listing. As you can see in the image on the right, we used an orange parrot picture with orange lamps and throw to compliment each other in this beautiful snug, the estate agent used the picture as an opening on her listing video of the property, this property sold in one day. |

The parrot is very unusual, so it makes potential buyers stop and look at the listing out of curiosity, it certainly worked for this listing.

| As you can see is in this image we installed a beautiful soft leather chesterfield, piled high with furry cushions and a big cream faux fur throw, this property had a large inglenook fire, so it seemed fitting to install furniture in this style to create a warm and inviting living room, we also hung the gold velvet curtains to frame the Georgian style windows, which wrapped around the property. |
This is the living room before we staged it, Which one would you want to go and view? Which one makes you want to cosy up in front of the fire? Which one shows you where you can place your furniture? This particular property had been on the market for months, it was empty and although the rooms were huge, those viewing could not visualise how to use such a big space. It sold within a few weeks it had more viewings in that short time then it had, had over the months in which it stood empty. |
